고즈넉한 풍경과 어머니 품처럼 편안한 계룡산 신원사(新元寺)

 

 

오랜 전통과 유구한 세월 동안 이어져 오는 고즈넉한 산사 풍경이 그리운 날이거나 부모님 전 영가

천도 및 국가에서 인정한 산신기도 도량을 찾고 싶다면 충남 공주시 계룡면 양화리 8 소재 계룡산

신원사(新元寺)를 소개드린다.

 

Gyeryongsan Mountain, located in Yanghwa-ri 8, Gyerong-myeon, Gongju-si,

Chungcheonnanm-do, If you miss the quiet mountain landscape that has been passed down

for many years or if you want to visit Yeongacheondo temple and state-recognized Sanshin

Prayer temple, Let me introduce Sinwonsa temple.

 

 

 

신원사를 처음으로 방문하시는 분들은 내비게이션이 이끄는대로 왔다가 절 입구 초입이 도로변

에서 다소 낮아서 정확히 찾기 어려울 수 있지만 일주문 근처로 주차된 차량과 통행하는 모습을

보면 충분히 찾을 수가 있다.

 

For those who vist Sinwonsa Temple for the first time, come as the navigation leads them,

and the entrance to the temple is one the side of the rold. It's a little low, so it's hard tho

find it exactly, but when you see a vehicle parked near iljumun Gate passed by, you can find it.

 

 

신원사 일주문

 

방문한 날이 고종황제, 명성황후 추모천도재를 지내는 기간이어서 절 초입부터 흥미롭게 생각하며

매표소를 지나서 사천왕문을 지나기 전 돌계단 옆에 신원사 안내문을 먼저 쭉 읽어본다.

 

생각보다 전부 읽는 데 정성이 필요하다.

 

The day I visted was during the period of Emperor Gojong and Empress Myeongseong

memorial services, so I thought it was interesting from the beginning of the temple. Before

passing through the ticket office and Passing through the Sachenwangmun Gate, first read the

notice of Sinwonsa Temple next to the stone steps. Than I thought it take a lot of effect to

read everything

 

 

 

신원사 안내문 Shin Won's notice

 

고구려 승려이자 대각국사 문집에 의하면 원효의 스승이라 알려진 보덕 화상에 의해 창건

되었으며, 총 3번의 중창불사가 이루어졌는데, 조선 고종 명성황후의 후원으로 근대에 불사가

이루어졌다.

 

It was founded by Bodeokhwasang, known as Wonhyo's teacher, according to the writings

of Goguryeo monk and national history Deagak, a total of three reconstrution Buddhist

temples were held, and Buddist temples were held in modern times under the auspices of

King Gojong Empress Myengseong of the Joseon Dynasty.

 

절 이름도 神院寺에서 대한제국의 신기원을 연다는 뜻으로 新元寺로 개명하였다고 전해진다.

 

절 곳곳에 비치된 신원사 안내문과 신원향기 가을호를 참고하여 덧붙여 안내하였다. 법회 안내 및

문화재 참고사항 등이 자세하게 안내되어 있다.

 

It is said that the name of the temple was changed to 新元寺, meaning that it opens a new era

of the Korean Empire. All over the temple the information was added and guided by referring

to the Shinwonsa Temple notice and the Autumn of Shinwon Hyanggi.

언제나 그렇듯 절지킴이 사천왕문을 지나면서 절의 풍경이 들어오기 시작한다.

 

As always, the scenery of the temple begins to enter as the temple passes through the

Four Heavenly Kings Gate.

사천왕문을 지나면 경내 주차장과 감로수를 맛볼 수 있는 관음 수각이 보인다.

Passing thruogh the Sacheonwangmun Gate, you can see the parking lot in the precincts

and Gwneum Sugak where you can taste Gamrosu.

관음수각에서 물 한잔 마시고 경내애 들어서면 우선 고즈넉하고 편안하게 앉은 절의 배치가

한눈에 들어온다.

 

어쩜 이리도 편안한 마음이 드는지 신기할 따름이다.

When you drink a cup of water at Gwaneumsugak and enter the precincts, the arrangement of

the temple quietly and comfortably at a glance. It's just amazing how I feel so cmfortable

절에서 운영하고 있는 8기 불교대학 강의 안내가 있는 천수 관음전이 보인다. 대웅전에서 먼저

3배를 올리고 나의 최애 보살이신 관음전에 들러서 3배를 올리고 절 전체를 빠르게 둘러보았다.

 

 

 

You can see the Cheonsu Gwaneumjeon Hall, which has a lecture guide to the 8th Buddist

University operated by the temple At Daeungjeon Hall, three times more. I stopped by

Gwaneumjeon Hall, my favorite Bodhisattva, and looked around the entire temple quickly.

There is also an outdoor Buddhist sanctuary dedicated to Podaehwasang next to Cheonsu

Gwaneumjeon Hall.

절에 간 날이 지장 백일기도 회향일이라 스님들과 신도님들이 영원 전에서 기도가 한창 진행

중이었다. 영원전(우리가 흔히 알고 있는 명부전과 다른 이름이라 신선했다)에서 기도 중인 스님과

The day I went to the temple was also the memorial day for the hundred days, of jijang, some

monks and believers were in full swing of prayer at yeongwonjeon Hall.

독성각과 칠성각

 

스님들이 기거하시는 곳으로 보이는 선원과 그 앞을 지키는 강아지 한 마리가 보인다.

절 풍경이 참 멋스럽다.

You can see a sailor who appears to be the place where the monks live and a dog guarding in

front of him. The scenery of the temple is so wonderful.

대한민국 최고의 산신기도 도량인 신원사 중악단에 대한 설명이 부족한 것 같아 유튜브

절따라 전설따라 공주 신원사 편을 가지고 왔다.

I think there's not enough explanation for the best mountain god prayer  Jungakdan 

Building in Korea. According to the temple, according to legend on Youtube, I brought the

절따라 전설따라 공주 신원사 중악단 설명이 상세하게 나와있는 동영상을 감상해 보실 것을 추천드린다

 

아쉽게도 비로자나불의 다른 이름으로 불리는 노사나불 괘불탱화는 공사 중으로 친견하지 못하였고

한국 제일의 산신 기도처로 알려진 중악단은 신원사를 사전 지식 없이 발길이 닿는 대로 방문하였기에

직접 전경을 카메라에 담아내지는 못하였지만, 계룡산 갑사와 동학사와 더불어 계룡산을 방문 시에

꼭 한번 들러보길 권유드린다.

 

Unfortunately, the Nosna Buddha Painting, which is called anather name of Vairocana Buddha,

was not famillar with it during construction. Known as Korea's best moutain god prayer place,

the jungakdan visited Shinwonsa Temple as soon as it could wihtout prior knowledge. Although

it was not possible to capture the panoramic view directly on camera, when visiting

Gyeryongsan Mountain along with Gapsa Temple and Donghaksa Temple.
